I like...

- movies (I LOVE watching movies of all kinds, ranging throughout all genres. My top three genres would be horror, smart comedies (which are usually indie flicks), and sci-fi (and no I am not a trekkie, trekker, or Star Wars fanatic; I just usually dig all those films like Avatar, Predators, Serenity, and anything else about space and other worlds) Oh and by far the best purchase I made in 2010 was getting a subscription to Netflix, YAY!)

- music (Music is Life. And like film, I love a wide variety of music as anything that sounds good to the ear is always welcome. Well almost anything; gangster rap or High School Musicals aren't really my choice to listen to ever. Acoustic performances are by far my absolute favorite as there is nothing more amazing than listening to one voice, one guitar or piano, and a lot of heart put into each lyric of the song. The Beatles are by far my favorite group of all time and I have a very exciting idea for a tattoo that I want to get to show my love for this amazing band, so stay tuned for that happening hopefully sooner than later)

- animals (for as long as I can remember I've always had a pet something or other. At the moment I have a silly little chihuahua named Toby. Now I will admit that I was very apprehensive in getting him because normally chihuahuas are a yippie barky breed but nah Toby actually turned out cool and laid back. Guess he got that from me. Ok I'll admit that he does have a bad habit at barking at black people but it's no where near as bad as it used to be. I can thank a woman I dated for a while for that, as she was black and I'm sure Toby being around her relaxed him enough to not assume everything he hears on the news about black folks lol. A list of other animals I've had throughout my life are; varies other breeds of dogs, hamsters, chickens, ducks, horses, turtles, rabbits, and when i was a kid we had one bird that would only eat raw meat. No joke, we eventually had to give it away when my little sister learned to walk and almost stuck her fingers in it's cage. So yeah bye bye birdie)

- tattoos (I love tattoos and yes I have a few and do plan on getting more. I'm kinda on the fence about whether a tattoo should mean something or not but either way, meaning or not, I love the artistic nature of it and the story behind why you got it is almost always worth the listen, so if you have any, feel free to share)

- Zombies (You know this is a love of mine that I honestly have no words to explain the why. All I know is that ever since I was kid and saw my first zombie movie I was hooked. Since then I've seen a countless amount of zombie movies from big budget to small, very good and absolutely horrible, but yeah if there's a chance to check out a zombie flick I'm definitely watching it. And yes I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead on AMC, ugh a six episode 1st season though was such a tease, can't wait till next season. And finally if you like superheroes and zombies then hey you'll love the Marvel Zombie series. Definitely check that out)

- tv (shows I'm into at the moment..... most of what's on The History Channel, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Eastbound and Down, The Walking Dead, The Office, Survivor, The IT Crowd, True Blood, Parks & Recreation, Boardwalk Empire, The Ultimate Fighter, The League, Sh!t My Dad Says, and Outsourced. There's way more shows I'm sure but this is all I could think of off the top of my head, probably because they're all still in season at the time I wrote this)

- Comedy Shows (whether the venue is small or big, there is nothing like seeing a great comedian do their thing as I laugh so hard my cheeks hurt. Personally smaller venues are my favorite like the Addison/Arlington Improv, I love the interaction in those places between comedian and crowd that you just don't get in a huge venue with thousands there.)

- Gummy bears (gummy worms work too, actually anything gummy is good)

- Cornbread (the absolute best part about Thanksgiving, well that and the stuffing. F-YEAH!)

- Vampires (Not the glittery kind though. I've always thought of vampires as higher functioning zombies actually but anywho they're cool and True Blood is definitely one of my favorite shows. Although my favorite character isn’t a vampire. Weird huh)

- Stride Bubblegum (Spearmint all the way. The pink flavor is the worse of ‘em all though, you’d be better off chewing a severed finger)

- Target (I can't prove it yet but I believe Target has somehow managed to make time stand still once you cross those front doors and get inside. I mean it just seems like hours fly by so fast out in the real world while within those Target walls, the visit doesn't feel nearly as long. How the eff is that possible?)

- Hamburgers (Hold the onions though. For many years I was the biggest fan of Whattaburger but this year a new place completely overthrew not just Whattaburger but all other burger places I've eaten at, that place being Patty's Shack Burgers. It's not a flashy looking establishment but it's certainly a memorable one as you can really tell that the owners had fun putting the place together but it's the burger that will definitely hook you in to coming back each moment you crave a burger. I mean just imagine having a burger with your favorite toppings like say cheese, bacon, jalapenos, then having that mushed right into the hamburger patty and made right in front of you, so delicious. So if you're ever in the Arlington, TX area I highly recommend you looking the place up and pay 'em a visit.)

- Video Games (I am not a hardcore gamer but I do enjoy a good sit down with a fun game. Especially if it gives me the escape my mind needs from the stress of the world. I know liquor can help with that too but I limit myself to not drinking during the week because of work, so yeah this is a very good alternative that won't leave me with a hangover the next day)

- Sports (although I’d never consider myself a fanatic of any particular sport. I do consider myself a casual sports fan with an average knowledge of the going ons in the world of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and UFC/MMA.)

Dislikes….

- Mashed potatoes (there was a time when this was a very welcome side dish to any meal but after a tragic event in 1998, I have never had or even attempted another bite of the mashed tatoe. Seriously the smell alone is enough to make me feel ill)

- Peanut butter (I don't think I ever like this stuff at all, I mean unlike mashed potatoes there's no tragic event, I just hate PB)

- Watermelon (I dunno why but it's always tasted like flavored dirt to me and the visible seeds inside freak me out, makes me think they're tics growing within just anxiously awaiting being released from their dirt flavored traps)

- Metal Utensils (I hate metal spoons and forks, give me plastic all the way. Now I will use a metal knife though, well because the plastic ones suck. But yeah, for the most part, I hate using metal spoons and forks, I'll use 'em if I absolutely have to but know that deep down inside I'm freakin out man lol)

- Terrorists (I mean the terror part of it sucks but my whole gripe is with the fact that a lot of times they kinda look like Mexicans and being a beaner myself, I worry about being mistaken for one)

- Wet socks (I dunno feels like a creepy sponge trying to suck the soul outta me from my feet, bleh)

- Presidential Speeches on TV (actually anything that interrupts and preempts my favorite tv show, very rude)

- Old folk drivers (Ugh if I could do one thing to truly express my hatred for old folk drivers, I would make my eyes bleed buckets of blood)

- Uptight folks (if you're the type of person who easily gets offended by just about everything, then yeah we really won't get along. I love laughing at the things I shouldn't be, the more offensive the better and I am definitely not one to pass up a good funny racial comment or joke. If you can't laugh at yourself or take yourself way too serious, I feel sorry for you and hope one day you'll be free from that proper uptight way of being to really enjoy yourself without worrying about what anyone else thinks)

- Jennifer Aniston (Totally overrated in every single possible way and a very clear representation of what a person can achieve when you sell your soul to the devil obviously)

- Being told I should watch Titanic (seriously I have no interest in watching that movie, pffft I already know how it ends weirdo)

- Puppets (ugh I dunno why they just freak me out, I especially hate that one comedian Jeff something that uses puppets in his act. So yeah, down with puppets and up with California Raisins, whatever happened to those soulful entertainers)

- Not having tissue paper or napkins handy (seriously I have this habit of always carrying on me a napkin or tissue paper. I mean not that I worry constantly that I'll sneeze out a mess but a napkin can totally clean up any spill, so I'm always ready)

- Tweens (The older I get the more things I find annoying in the world, at the top of that list is tweens. I mean I used to hate being in a movie theater or any room really with kids because there was the potential of them always acting out, crying, whinning, and being bratty annoying. Well tweens pretty much do the same and what I'm discovering is that some early 20 somethings are also the same way. So yeah scary)

- Politics (I'm sorry but I am not a political type at all, I don't know who I'm suppose to hate or like, agree with or call an idiot, all I know is that my favorite president hands down is President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho from Idiocracy. Wooo!)
